Hello to a New School Year!

Immunizations:  Maine Law is clear that students need to be in compliance with vaccines in order to attend school in the state of Maine. There is a one time 90-day exemption for students who are new to Maine or registering for school for the first time. This exemption does not apply to students transferring from another Maine school district. Check out the link to the right of this page for required exemptions. If you need help obtaining an immunization for your child, please reach out to their school nurse.

Sports Physicals: A new sport physical is needed every 2 years for a student to play sports in the Kittery School District. If this applies to your child, please fax or email an updated physical to your student's school nurse.

Covid: The nurses have a supply of home tests for staff and families. Please contact us if you are in need. We ask that you do not send you child to school if they are feeling ill. Please keep them at home until they are feeling better. If your child begins to feel ill while in school, we can administer a rapid Covid antigen test with your permission. Please DO NOT send your child into school to be Covid tested.

School Flu Vaccine Clinic: We will be having a flu vaccine clinic in October. Keep an eye out for more information from the Superintendent. We will be partnering with NorthernLights. Consent forms will be in an electronic format. More information to come soon!

Mobile Dental Clinic: We will be offering a mobile dental clinic for dental hygiene and exam as we did last year. At the end of the appointment someone from the clinic will contact you to help you navigate any further care if it is needed.
