💗 Autumn 2020 💗

The nurses would like to thank you for keep the Kittery Promise and helping to keep our school community safe. We are grateful to you!

The holidays are upon us and they will be different than ones past. Here are some safety tips to keep you and your family safe this year.

Holiday Planning

Kittery Schools ask that if you travel to a non-exempt state that you obtain a Covid PCR test 5 days  after you return to  Maine. Please do not send your child to school while you await the results of their test.

Although cases are rising in Maine and in the rest of the country, it looks like the work on COVID vaccines are paying off.  They are reportedly 90% effective. It would require two shots a few weeks apart with similar side effects to other vaccines like a sore arm or cold-like symptoms.

In addition, treatments for those ill with COVID have advanced considerably since last spring. Maine is to receive an allotment of biologic therapies.
